The Woman Behind the Story

Rooted in Christ. Moving with Purpose. Still Becoming.

I’m Nisha McNair, a disciple of Jesus Christ with a heart to make Him known. He is my why. My desire is for the way I love, serve, and show up in everyday life to reflect His glory here on Earth.

I haven’t always had it all figured out, and I still don’t. But through joy, loss, healing, and starting over, His grace has continued to carry me. Even in the moments when my heart was far from Him, He was there. I’m still learning, still growing, and still becoming the woman He created me to be.

Brooklyn roots. A Baltimore chapter.

I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York. In 2021, I packed up and made Baltimore, Maryland, my home. I thought I was heading south and leaving the snow behind. Baltimore had other plans! That move brought a new city, new beginnings, and a story I couldn’t have written on my own.

Along the way, I’ve worn a few different hats. I’m a mother of three daughters, a grandmother to two, a dog mom, a cat mom, a U.S. Air Force veteran, entrepreneur, real estate investor, microloctician, and author. Those titles tell you a little about me, but there’s a woman behind every one of them. That’s who I want you to get to know here.

A life with purpose.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force and spending 23 years in the corporate world, I stepped into entrepreneurship with a desire to build something that felt personal and meaningful. I love seeing an idea become something real, especially when it gives me a chance to care for people and make a difference in their lives.

At work, you’ll often find me caring for someone’s crown. I’m a microloctician specializing in installing and maintaining microlocs for women. I pour a lot of love into my clients, and the time we spend together means so much to me. If the opportunity to minister presents itself, I welcome it with an open heart. I never force those conversations. I let them happen naturally, with care and respect for the woman in my chair.

As a contributing author in The Higher Level Method: What Would I Tell My Younger Self? Vol. IV, I share a piece of my heart through faith, love, and the moments that changed my life. There are things I wish I could tell my younger self. Maybe you feel that way, too. My hope is that these pages remind you to give yourself a little grace and leave room for what God is still doing in your story.

That same heart is behind Sincerely, Nisha, my love letter to caring for yourself. I want every guest to feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. It also carries into Charm City Carriage & Co., my upcoming business created to bring a little elegance to the moments we want to remember.

This space holds different parts of my life, but they all come back to the same heart. Faith, family, love, and a desire to live with purpose.
